What are Teeth-in-a-Day?
Teeth-in-a-Day is similar to All-on-Four® treatment. Minimally invasive, treatment is designed to support a full arch of prosthetic teeth with just four, strategically placed dental implants.
Capable of supporting dentures on the upper and lower arches, Teeth-in-a-Day treatment is more conservative than traditional implant-supported dentures, which often take as many as eight implants and may require sinus lift surgery or bone grafting before they can be placed. Teeth-in-a-Day do not require invasive or expensive surgery prior to placement, allowing the procedure to be completed in just one day and significantly reducing the recovery period for most patients.
Less invasive does not mean less effective. In fact, this type of implant-supported denture provide the same benefits as traditional and mini dental implants, and often at a fraction of the cost. Some of these benefits include:
- A strong, reliable, and functional bite
- Natural-looking, attractive aesthetics
- Prevention of bone loss and jaw collapse
- A fixed prosthetic that does not need to be removed for cleaning or sleeping
Teeth-in-a-Day can also help restore fullness to the lips and lower face, areas that often look sunken in or collapsed following tooth loss. This helps produce a more attractive and youthful look and can do wonders for self-confidence. What’s more, because the dentures are fixed, you don’t have to worry about them slipping, falling, out, or interfering with eating or speaking. You can leave our office with full confidence in your smile and the knowledge that your restoration, if cared for properly, will continue producing optimal results for years to come.
Am I a Good Teeth-in-a-Day Candidate?
You may be a good candidate for Teeth-in-a-Day dental implants if you are:
- Missing all or most of an entire arch of teeth
- Free of gum disease
- In generally good oral and systemic health
